Singha Krai Phop

The ruler of the city of Konja, named Thao Innumas, and his queen, Nang Chanthakaewkalyani, had no son, so they adopted a pirate's son and named him Kongkha Pralai. When he grew up, Kongkha Pralai learned that his real father had been killed by Thao Innumas, so he took revenge by looting and seizing the city of Konja. Thao Innumas and his queen had to flee and live with their grandparents in a hut on the edge of the forest. The queen gave birth to a son in this hut. Brahmin Wirunchai of Mithila had a son named Thepchinda. Wirunchai knew that Nang Chan Kaew had given birth to a son who was blessed, so he sent Thepchinda to find him so he could rely on him. Thepchinda found the infant son of Thao Innumas and stole the baby and ran away. A giant named Pinthumara caught the two children, but the giant took pity on the two children and raised them by feeding them the milk of Nang Kraisorn Rachasi and named the baby Singhakraipop. When Kongkha Pralai became ruler of the city, he caused much suffering to the people of the city. A group of ministers could not tolerate this so they gathered people to come and attack the city in return. After killing Kongkha Pralai, they invited Thao Intumas to return to rule the city as before. Later, Thao Innumas had another daughter named Suwannaratmi.

When Singhakraipop was 14 years old, he knew that Pinthuma was not his real father. So he invited Thepchinda to escape and find his father. Before escaping, he stole a magical leaf that when eaten, would transform into various animals: eating the red leaf would transform into a naga, eating the green leaf would transform into a parrot, eating the white leaf would transform into a monkey, and eating the yellow leaf would turn into natural gold. So the two of them ate the leaf that transformed into a bird and flew in the air. Pinthuma caught up with them and begged the two princes to return. The two princes refused to return. Pinthuma was so heartbroken that he died. After taking care of Pinthuma, they traveled to Mithila. Thepchinda took Singhakraipop to live in his house. Later, when Singhakraipop found out that Thepchinda was not his brother, he was angry and sad. He ran away from Thepchinda and traveled to Maran, a city of giants. The city lord was named Thao Chatupak, his queen was named Monthawadi, and they had a daughter named Nang Soisuda. Singhakraipop disguised himself as a parrot. Nang Soisuda caught him and raised him in the palace. At night the parrot transformed into a human and took Nang Soisuda as his wife. The couple secretly had sex and Nang Soisuda became pregnant, so they conspired to flee. Thao Chatupak caught up with them and was able to take Nang Soisuda back. Nang Soisuda gave birth to a son. After Singhakraipop learned of his background from Thepchinda, he had Thao Innumas come to ask for her hand in marriage, but Thao Chatupak refused and led an army to attack the city of Konja, so he was killed by Singhakraipop.
